Why is my transfer not successful?

Lemonade transfers are usually successful in seconds. However, in rare situations where there is a problem communicating with the recipient's bank, a transfer may linger in the In-progress status for more than a few minutes.

Rather than setting the transfer to fail in this situation, our systems will keep retrying the transfer across different channels until all alternatives have been exhausted and the transfer fails. 

Please keep in mind that the 'In-progress' status isn't final, and the transfer's status will eventually be altered to Successful or Failed.
